Second edition of FCI’s dog walk in Thuin: again, a huge success ! !

In the afternoon of 7 August, the FCI organised their second dog walk, in collaboration with the Tourism Office. During the week preceding this Sunday excursion, we wondered about the weather doing us an ill turn, but finally we enjoyed a nice day, neither rainy, nor too hot!

The Congress for Judges and Candidate-Judges of the FCI’s Americas and the Caribbean Section was held on 14th and 15th July. This major event was held at the headquarters of the Federación Canófila Mexicana and was attended by the best judges from Mexico and Latin America, along with well-known dog lovers...

Mudflat hiking, water games or pulling loads. Exhibitions, reading or radio shows. A small Chihuahua or XXL mastiff. Almost everything associated with Germany’s favourite pet could be seen and experienced on the Day of the Dog.

Further to some meetings with Four Paws (the first at FCI headquarters in December 2015 and a second one at Four Paws’ offices in May 2016), the FCI is slowly building a new relationship with this organisation and is always receptive to its recommendations regarding animal welfare.

Today, after the daily dog show press conference, the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) invited all the stakeholders in the canine world to attend Four Paws’ presentation of their activities in the framework of their campaign promoting Responsible Ownership.

Geneva, July 2016 - ONE OF the world’s most truly renowned and international dog show events, which is supported by the FCI – the Eukanuba World Challenge – will celebrate its 10^th anniversary by moving to the UK, hosted at Crufts.
